| Bears Thrill Fans with 3-2 Win | The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.
Milwaukee starter Robin Roberts had a strong outing against the Birmingham Black Barons at County Stadium . The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. The Black Barons, now 11-7, continue their sluggish start.
The Bears were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when catcher Louis Santop turned a first pitch fastball from Jose R Alvarez into a 2-run home run. The walk-off home run electrified the County Stadium denizens and sent the Bears home with a thrilling 3-2 win.
Afterward, Bears manager Tyler Benning was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
