| Senators Bridle Eagles, 4-2 | Kevin Tapani pitched well, but his team, the Houston Eagles, still dropped a 4-2 decision to the Washington Senators at RFK Stadium. With the win, the Senators improved to 58-79.
In the bottom of the fifth, with Washington leading 2-1, Leonys Martin hit a fastball from Kevin Tapani for a 2-run single, giving the Senators the lead, 4-1.
"We put together a nice win," Martin said.
