Angels Lose By a Run at Yokohama, 2-1 | Hod Eller pitched a gem to lead Yokohama to victory over the Los Angeles Angels, 2-1. Eller got the win, improving to 16-13. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. Eller allowed 1 run. Brad Brach recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 17 for 21.
George Foster had a big hit for Yokohama in the bottom of the third inning. With Yokohama leading 1-0, Foster hit a solo home run. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Dodgers up, 2-0.
