Black Yankees Shut Out Dodgers, 4-0 | New York pitcher Dave Dravecky did his part in helping his team beat the Yokohama Dodgers, 4-0. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. New York now has a 3-game win streak.
New York first baseman Fred Luderus went deep in the bottom of the second. His 2-run home run off Yokohama pitcher Madison Bumgarner put the Black Yankees in front, 2-0. It was his 15th home run of the season.
