| Black Yankees Win 5-4 Walk-Off | The New York Black Yankees defeated the Houston Eagles, 5-4, at Yankee Stadium I. New York designated hitter Jack Clark had a superb performance. He went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Houston falls to 14-13.
The knockout blow came in the bottom of the ninth inning. That's when pinch hitter Shin-Soo Choo stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and hit a walk-off run-scoring single, to win the ballgame.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Clark said.
