| Americans Prevail, 5-4, Over Yokohama | The Boston Americans did just enough to secure a victory over the Yokohama Dodgers, 5-4, at Kanagawa Prefecture Park. Nobody did more than right fielder Bob L Johnson. The loss makes Yokohama 13-18.
In the top of the seventh, Johnson put his team in front with his 7th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which came against Dan O'Brien, made it 5-4, Boston.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Johnson.
