| Dodgers Come Up Short at Milwaukee, 6-5 | Fans watched the Milwaukee Bears and the Yokohama Dodgers fight to the finish.
The Milwaukee Bears overcame a good performance by Yokohama center fielder Andruw Jones to knock off Yokohama, 6-5, at County Stadium . Jones was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Milwaukee is now 16-20, Yokohama 14-22.
In the bottom of the sixth, Milwaukee right fielder Nick Swisher put his team on top. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 9th home run of the year. Yokohama pitcher Adam Eaton served it up. Just like that, the Bears were ahead, 3-1.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Swisher. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
