| Federals Prevail, 3-1, Over Milwaukee | Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Chicago Federals and the Milwaukee Bears. Chicago won it, 3-1. Chicago starter Jon Matlack was in command. In 7 innings, Matlack surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Stan Ferens nailed down his 2nd save.
