Detroit reliever Bill Donovan picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Bill Bartley shouldered the loss. Detroit now has a record of 24-14 with the win.
Orlando Merced electrified the crowd in the bottom of the 11th when he took Boston pitcher Bill Bartley deep. His solo home run sent the Stars home winners.
