| Senators Top Federals to Even Record | Washington Senators starter Danny Jackson was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Chicago Federals, 4-1. The winning pitcher was Jackson, now 4-3. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 5 and fanning 2. The triumph puts Washington at 21-21 for the season.
Washington center fielder Justin Maxwell made an impact. He drilled a run-scoring double in the bottom of the third. In the contest, Maxwell went 1 for 2 with a double and a walk.
"Danny is still learning," said Senators manager Rickie E. Shaw. "The sky's the limit for him."
