| Angels Need Extra Frames to Get Past Eagles | The Los Angeles Angels defeated the Houston Eagles, 4-2, in Junior Circuit action at Wrigley Field (LA). Los Angeles pitcher Tim Keefe had a standout performance. Dustin May earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record is now 4-2. With the win, Los Angeles upped its record to 23-23.
