| Donaldson Hits 2 home runs in Caribou Win | Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Caribou Caribou and Milwaukee Bears.
The 6-5 Caribou win over Milwaukee was due in large part to Josh Donaldson. The Caribou third baseman slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Terry Leach closed the door for Caribou, picking up his 6th save of the year.
Donaldson contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Caribou in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Donaldson took a sinker from Robin Roberts and stroked the home run to right. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Caribou to leap in front, 2-1.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Milwaukee manager Tyler Benning. "The effort was great."
Caribou is now 20-26, Milwaukee 22-24.
