| Dodgers Continue Skid Thanks to Musial, Black Yankees | A good performance from right fielder Stan Musial helped the New York Black Yankees defeat the Yokohama Dodgers, 8-1. Musial went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Black Yankees. With the win, New York pushed its record to 27-27.
In the top of the first of a scoreless game, Musial hit a 2-run home run to put his team ahead.
Musial attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
