| Monarchs Roll Over Black Yankees, 10-1 | The Kansas City Monarchs coasted to a win over the New York Black Yankees, 10-1. Admiral Schlei had a good day at the plate for Kansas City. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Shawn Estes got the win, improving to 4-7. He held the Black Yankees to no runs on 5 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The win has Kansas City at 22-43.
