Williams Delivers Walk-Off Win for Eagles | Houston starter Ted Gray had a strong outing against the Chicago Federals at Buffalo Stadium. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Brian Fuentes earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record is now 3-1. With the win, Houston upped its record to 42-27.
Bernie F Williams was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Eagles left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
