| Bears Walk Off with 5-3 Win | County Stadium was rocking after an exciting Bears win.
The Milwaukee Bears racked up a win at County Stadium , bumping off the Los Angeles Angels, 5-3. Willie Foster, who started for Milwaukee, pitched effectively for his team. The win gives Milwaukee a season record of 42-35.
Milwaukee won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Jim C Wright on the mound for Los Angeles, catcher Louis Santop hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Bears fans to their feet.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Foster said.
