The Milwaukee Bears and Memphis Red Sox lit up the scoreboard.

Louis Santop helped his team muscle past the Memphis Red Sox, 10-8. In the game, the Milwaukee catcher went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Don Drysdale picked up the win, improving his season record to 9-8. He struck out 3 in 6.1 innings.

Milwaukee used the timely hitting of Greg Vaughn to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Bears ahead, 6-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Milwaukee skipper Tyler Benning.

With the win, the Bears hiked their record to 45-38.
