Luderus Propels Black Yankees to 8-1 Win | The New York Black Yankees defeated the Washington Senators, 8-1, in Junior Circuit action at Yankee Stadium I. Fred Luderus pulled his weight. The 12-year veteran went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. At 43-46, New York is in second place in the Junior Circuit Waterloo.
Luderus made an early impact for New York when he stroked his 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Black Yankees on top, 5-0.
