Houston center fielder Jim Wynn had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Wynn went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, even as Milwaukee beat the Eagles, 9-5. With the win, Milwaukee upped its record to 58-46.

Mickey Morandini was a prime factor in the win for the Bears. In the top of the fourth with two out, the 29-year old third baseman hit a 2-run single. He was 1 for 2. He drove in 2 runs.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Milwaukee manager Tyler Benning.
