| Eagles Top Bears in Extras, 4-3 | The Milwaukee Bears got a superb performance from pitcher Willie Foster. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Houston. The Eagles won the game, 4-3. Foster threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. With the win, Houston pushed its record to 62-42.
The Eagles were down to their final out when left fielder Bernie F Williams turned a 0-1 fastball from Adam Cimber into a 2-run home run. The walk-off home run made the Buffalo Stadium crowd go wild.
"This game tested our mettle," said Williams.
