American Giants Take Down Senators, 3-2 | The Chicago American Giants got a stellar performance from pitcher Jose Rosado, who handcuffed the Washington offense en route to a win, 3-2, at RFK Stadium. Steve Kealey was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 5 of 6 save opportunities. The win elevated the American Giants to 56-55.
Runs were at a premium. So, Chuck Hinton's at-bat with one out in the top of the eighth was crucial. The Chicago catcher drew a walk, driving in 1 run, to give his team a 3-2 lead.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Rosado. | | | | |
