Angels Make It 5 Straight with 3-2 Win | Good production from pitcher Martin Dihigo helped the Los Angeles Angels topple the New York Black Yankees, 3-2. Dihigo threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball for the Angels. Felix Hernandez finished to wrap up his 3rd save. The Black Yankees, now 4-8, continue their slow start.
Also having an impact was third baseman Orlando Arcia, who stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third for Los Angeles. For the game, Arcia was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Los Angeles manager Neil F. Lewis. | | | | |
