| Stars Win, 3-1, Versus Caribou | The Detroit Stars picked up a win at Tiger Stadium, courtesy of Dallas Braden. The left-hander helped his team stop the Caribou Caribou, 3-1. The win gives Detroit a season record of 66-49.
Detroit center fielder Chris James landed a blow when he socked a solo home run in the bottom of the third. It was his 6th home run of the season. With it, the Stars took a 3-1 lead.
"We're one win closer to our goal," Braden said in postgame remarks.
