Rice goes 3-for-4 in Senators Win
A 4-RBI performance from the two-time All-Star Jim Rice helped the Washington Senators beat the Kansas City Monarchs, 7-1. Washington is off to a hot start at 3-0.

Rice came through for Washington with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. He hit a full count fastball to right field, staking his team to a 3-1 lead.

In comments to the Washington Chronicle, Rice insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
