The New York Black Yankees got a superb performance from left fielder Manny Ramirez. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Chicago. The American Giants won the game, 12-6. Ramirez went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The victory gives the American Giants a record of 69-65.

The American Giants got a big at-bat from second baseman Brock Holt, who in the top of the third hit a run-scoring double. It was his 9th double of the season and put the American Giants on top, 4-2.

"We got the victory," said Holt. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
