Milwaukee third baseman Mickey Morandini contributed to his team's 5-3 win over the St. Louis Browns. Morandini, who is tied for 5th in the NL in triples with 7, went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Bears. The victory gives Milwaukee a record of 81-58.

Morandini was 2 for 3 with a triple, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times against the Browns. With the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Milwaukee in front, 4-3.
