Harrah Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Milwaukee in Walk-Off Win | Led by Jim Edmonds, the Milwaukee Bears defeated the Los Angeles Angels, 6-5. Edmonds hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Bears. Milwaukee reliever Larry Pape picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Felix Hernandez took the loss. With the win, Milwaukee raised its record to 26-26.
When he came to bat in the bottom of the 11th, Toby Harrah had a chance to be the hero. Los Angeles pitcher Felix Hernandez had other ideas. But with no outs, Harrah reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 1 run. The Bears had themselves a dramatic win.
"This is a resilient bunch," said Milwaukee manager Tyler Benning. | | | | |
