| Black Yankees Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Angels | The home crowd had a good time watching the Los Angeles Angels and New York Black Yankees get after it.
The New York Black Yankees beat the Los Angeles Angels, 4-2, at Yankee Stadium I. New York right fielder Stan Musial had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. With the victory, the Black Yankees upped their record to 36-36.
Manny Ramirez had a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth inning. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, the New York left fielder hit a 2-run double. That put the Black Yankees in front, 4-2.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Los Angeles skipper Neil F. Lewis, "and it cost us."
