Win Mercer got the loss. Ben DeMott was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 3 save opportunities.
Bogaerts hit a 2-run double in the bottom of the third to help the Washington cause. The double, which was hit off Win Mercer, allowed Washington to take a 2-0 lead.
