| Black Yankees Prevail, 5-3, Over Milwaukee | New York Black Yankees starter Alex Cobb pitched a strong game against the Milwaukee Bears at Yankee Stadium I, leading the Black Yankees to victory, 5-3. The loss makes Milwaukee 43-37.
In the bottom of the seventh, New York first baseman Jack Clark hit a two-strike fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It put the Black Yankees up, 4-3.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Cobb.
