| Altuve Gets #300 | The crowd roared -- they knew they were seeing history -- and Jose Altuve was delighted, too. The 41-year-old American Giants second baseman was making history with his 300th career homer. The crowd buzzed and roared again when Altuve stuck his head out of the dugout for a curtain call.
"Never, as a kid, did I ever think I'd hit even one," he told BNN after hitting No. 300 in a 3-2 victory over Houston. Altuve went 2-for-4 in the game, had 1 RBI, and scored 1 run.
