Black Yankees Handed 5-3 Loss by Los Angeles | The home crowd had a good time watching the New York Black Yankees and Los Angeles Angels get after it.
New York first baseman Fred Luderus had a good game, even if his team did not. The Black Yankees dropped a 5-3 decision to Los Angeles at Wrigley Field (LA). Luderus was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Dustin May, credited with the save, is now 3 for 7 in save opportunities.
The Angels got a big at-bat from catcher Bill Haselman. For the game, Haselman went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave Los Angeles a 2-1 lead.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Haselman.
