The Milwaukee Bears defeated the Washington Senators, 2-0, in Senior Circuit action at RFK Stadium. Milwaukee pitcher Willie Foster had a standout performance. Adam Cimber got the save, his 6th in 12 chances. With the victory, the Bears upped their record to 61-48.

Foster allowed no runs on 7 hits over 7.2 innings for the Bears. He walked 0 and struck out 10.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Milwaukee manager Tyler Benning said.
