8-2 Loss Deepens Yokohama Funk
The Washington Senators got a good effort from starter Jack Fisher in defeating the Yokohama Dodgers at RFK Stadium. The final score was 8-2. The win puts Washington at 46-67.

Don Slaught hit a grand slam home run off Frank Reberger in the bottom of the first, which put the Senators ahead, 4-1. In addition to the homer, Slaught had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"I like winning," Fisher told the Washington Chronicle. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
