Edmonds Leads Bears to 8-2 Win Over Athletics | Bears center fielder Jim Edmonds put his stamp on his team's 8-2 win over the Kansas City Athletics. Edmonds went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for Milwaukee in the contest. Don Drysdale, who went 8.2 innings, was the winning pitcher.
