 | Senior Circuit Names Rookie of Month Saturday, October 1st, 2005 Tim Flannery's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Detroit third baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .303 with 3 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run. Flannery also scored 21 times and drove in 6 runs.
