| Bears Dominate, Sweep Division Round Sunday, October 9th, 2005 The Milwaukee Bears are on to the League Championship Series after a convincing series win over the Detroit Stars.
Milwaukee wrapped up the series sweep with a 8-0 win in the last game, to take the series 3-0.
"We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Jim Edmonds, who was named series MVP.
For the series, Edmonds hit .583 with a .615 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Milwaukee Bears don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Houston Eagles - Memphis Red Sox series. That series is tied at 1 game apiece. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 12th, 2005.
