 | Jose Vidro Named AL's Best Player Saturday, October 29th, 2005 The top batter in the Junior Circuit in 2005 was Kansas City second baseman Jose Vidro. Today he was named the winner of the Most Impactful Player Award. Vidro starred this season with a .347 batting average, 228 hits, 32 home runs, 133 RBIs, .393 OBP and 116 runs scored. Roger Maris of the St. Louis Browns finished second in voting, while Stan Musial of the New York Black Yankees finished third. |   |
