 | Sub League 1's Best Batter Announced Monday, August 22nd, 2005 So far in his young career, Karim Garcia has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Sub League 1 in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Manchester City right fielder hit at a torrid .478 clip as he collected 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 8 home runs, 13 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
