 | Tuatara Motley Raps 3 Homers Friday, July 29th, 2005 Auckland Tuatara left fielder Darryl Motley had a magnificent game against the San Francisco Seals today, rocketing three balls out of Chukars Ballpark to help the Tuatara take the 10-4 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Motley went 3-for-5 with 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Auckland manager said later. "Seems like Darryl found his home run stroke today." Darryl Motley hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Thus far this year Motley is batting .291 with 20 home runs, 94 RBIs and 65 runs scored. |   |
