 | Red-Hot Heusser Cools Off Hartford Sunday, July 31st, 2005 Ed Heusser of the Eau Claire Bears shut out the Hartford Yard Goats, 12-0, on 1 hit. He rang up 11 strikeouts and walked 0. "He's got great stuff and good movement," Hartford manager said after the game. "He threw a lot of breaking balls. He made adjustments. We just couldn't figure him out today." To date this season Heusser is 11-9 with 27 starts and an ERA of 2.66 with 160 strikeouts in 186 innings. |   |
