 | Frenchmen Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 6th, 2005 Fans of the Ft. Kent Frenchmen have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Ft. Kent last appeared in the postseason in 2002. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 29 times in their 43-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Frenchmen have missed the playoffs 7 times. |   |
