As of today, they were mathematically out of playoff contention. The Bears have missed the playoffs 35 times in their 43 years as a ABBA Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2000. In the last 10 seasons, the Bears have missed the playoffs 8 times.
