 | AA's Star Player Named Monday, August 29th, 2005 So far in his young career, Brook Jacoby has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the ABBA 2A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Hartford Yard Goats first baseman hit at a torrid .609 clip as he collected 14 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This year Jacoby has hit at a .433 clip with 47 RBIs, 12 home runs and 45 runs scored. |   |
