 | Richards Wins AA Player of the Week Trophy Monday, September 5th, 2005 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the ABBA 2A, but last week Paul Richards of the Ft. Kent Frenchmen reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Richards rocked opposing pitching for a .571 average (12-for-21), 1 home run and 11 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Richards is hitting .246 with 16 home runs. |   |
