Top AA Reliever Honored Tuesday, October 4th, 2005 Eau Claire Bears reliever Mike Clark said he loves to come into the game when the outcome is in jeopardy.
He certainly did a good job of impacting his team's outcomes this season, as he has been named the winner of the 2005 Reliever of the Year Award for the ABBA 2A.
"There's no better feeling than running in from the bullpen with the game on the line and your heart pumping," Clark said.
On the season, the Camden, New Jersey native had 7 saves in 51 relief appearances, 72 strikeouts in 75 innings and a record of 6 wins and 5 losses to go with his 2.88 ERA.
