 | Pirates Mitchell Smacks 5 Hits Friday, July 29th, 2005 Wading River Pirates right fielder Bobby Mitchell went ballistic today with the bat. He hammered the Borman Astros for 5 hits and drove Wading River to a 8-6 win over Borman at Centerburg Grounds. Bobby Mitchell hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. This year Mitchell is batting .290 with 109 hits and 22 home runs. He has scored 64 times and has batted in 62 runs. |   |
