 | 20-Game Hitting Streak for Finigan Friday, August 12th, 2005 The number just keeps getting higher. Delta Theta Phi second baseman Jim Finigan has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 2 hits in 4 at-bats as the Delta Theta Phi took the 6-3 win over the Indian Shores Jazz at Ballpark of Indian Shores. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Indian Shores manager said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Jim Finigan singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. Thus far this season Finigan has hit .362 with 8 home runs, 57 RBIs and scored 81 times. |   |
