 | Iowa Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Saturday, August 20th, 2005 They have certainly not struck fear into the hearts of any other ABBA Triple A teams this season and as of today the Iowa Cubs are officially out of the race for the postseason. The Cubs have missed the playoffs 41 times in their 44 years as a ABBA Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 26th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1978. |   |
