 | August's Top Starter Named in SL2 Thursday, September 1st, 2005 In August, Ricky Bones tore through the Sub League 2 like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Indian Shores starter posted a 6-1 mark and an ERA of 3.21 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 56 innings he collected 49 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .238 average. This year Bones has fanned 79 in 104 innings and collected a 8-5 record with a 3.89 ERA. |   |
